Morning Tea Rituals by ~AgnesPterry:iconAgnesPterry:

Morning tea ritual
one sugar, two sugars,
cream
-
Morning kiss ritual
hand behind head, ruffling
hair
-
Morning jacket ritual
leather coat shrugged on, brace against
wind
-
Morning silence ritual
meaningless repetitious words; nothing really much
said
-
Mourning tea ritual
one sugar, two sugars, cream: we wave farewell and
goodbye.

Ah, very nice. I enjoyed the format of your piece. It was very nice and as breif as it was, because I am ever so fond of poetry that does not take more then five minutes to read, it got the entire story across in such a meaningful way. Your concept was amazing and you executed it perfectly. Lovely piece.

Short poetry is good. I always hated having to read pages and pages of it in English classes, so . . . yeah. Most of mine aren't more than twelve lines at most I guess, although only these two are posted at Deviant Art. . . . Thanks for the review, I really appreciated it!

This makes me sad. At first it starts out sweet, but.. goodbyes are always sad, even if it's only temporary.

This made my heart heavy.
The most upsetting part is the loss of the ritual (on it's own) as something to rely on, and there is a definite communication of the emotion connected to that goodbye. ♥
